Not at all. You are welcome to book a call as many times as you need. We’re here to listen and support you whenever you feel the need to reach out.
We understand how hard it can be to share your story, and it takes a lot of courage to reach out. While we can’t guarantee that you’ll speak to the same volunteer each time, please know that every member of our team is here to listen with kindness and compassion.
If you feel that you need more ongoing or specialized support, we gently encourage you to consider speaking to your GP or a mental health professional. Seeking additional support is a sign of strength, and you deserve the care that best supports your well-being.
No, our services are open to all women. While our advice is rooted in Islamic teachings, we welcome anyone who feels we can offer them support.
Sakinah Line is lovingly run by a group of Muslim women who are passionate about supporting others. Our founder and lead is Sister Rabia, a doctor by profession, whose dedication and compassion have brought this initiative to life.
We’re so glad you’re interested in joining our team! To become a Listening Volunteer, we ask for a minimum qualification of Counselling Level 2. If you’d like to volunteer as an Advice Volunteer, we also require qualifications in Islamic Studies.
If you’d like to learn more or apply, we’d love to hear from you. Please reach out to us at admin@sakinahline.org.
